The computer has allowed many an entrepeneur to find a niche in the home based business arena. I am still looking and many of you are probably like me still searching for that perfect opportunity.
What did we do before we had computers in the home? Were you looking for stuffing envelopes, assembling products at home, all in hopes of generating an income from home. I know I've been there and tried most of them. Ordered the jewelry making kit, made my earrings that I thought were pretty nice, sent them in for payment, but only received a rejection letter. Another work from home effort involved making pot holder mitts. I sent for the kit, purchased the fabric and made by mitts, submitted for payment and was rejected stating quality was not up to par. I am a sewer. I ordered stuffing envelopes from home, knowing this was going to be the sure thing, but when I received the material it involved placing expensive ads in the newspapers and that is how I would receive the stuffed envelopes. I finally realized these companies were only in the business of selling their kits and would never purchase any of the goods no matter how well they were made.
After spending a lot of money on on-line opportunities I know there is a lot of misleading junk out there and others that were so complicated you didn't know where to start or it was only an entry into the money pit. I am on a quest to find a real work from home business and I am on the trail of some 5 star rated ones. I'll let you know what is working for me from the comfort of my home whether it's data entry, marketing, selling on ebay, ebooks or whatever I know its out there.
If you have some experiences in this area and would love to share them with me I would love to hear from you. Be sure to check back often to learn about the home based businesses I am currently looking at.
